MN106

There are three modifications for the MN106 in the Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus online multiplayer. All MN106s has the same overall design and clip capacity of 30 rounds of ammunition. Except for the different attachments such as the Red Dot sight, Camouflage hand-guards or the Silencer/Suppressor. These rifles are based on the Colt M16 and rifle in real life.

In the single player campaign, the MN106 is available with a combination of mods; R.D.S. denotes Red Dot Silenced and C.R.D.S. denotes Camouflaged Red Dot Silenced.

MN106

A basic MN106. It pocceses far less recoil than the AK-47. However, the damage is reduced. It takes 6 to 10 rounds to kill at the body, and 2 to 4 rounds aiming at the head, depending on your range. It also has the standard aperture sights.

MN106 Red Dot

A MN106 with a Red Dot Sight. It provides an improvement from the original aperture sight on the MN106. For those who are not used to the standard iron sights, the Red Dot Sight is a good second choice. The sight does not increase accuracy, although, the number of shots to kill at a long rfange are reduced from 10 to 8. It is unlocked at Rank 24. It is considered to be better than the regular MN106. The weapon’s rate of fire has been slightly increased, although, a secondary weapon is also useful in most situations. Burst fire is recommended at long ranges.

MN106 Camouflaged

A MN106 with iron sights and a camouflage design on it’s hand-guard. It is approximately two times more powerful that the basic MN106 and MN106 Red Dot.* Depending on the range, it only takes 4 to 10 body shots to kill an opponent, while it takes 1 to 4 head shots to kill an opponent. It is unlocked at Rank 34.
The new update decreases the amount of damage the MN106 Camo does.

MN106 Silenced

An MN106 with a suppressor.. It is slightly more powerful than the MN106 and MN106 Red Dot, only taking 6 to 9 body shots to kill an opponent, and 2 to 3 head shots, depending on your range. The rate of fire is slightly more improved from all other three MN106 variants. Although it is suppressed, the accuracy is drastically improved. It has its own distinctive firing sound although it is not completely silenced. It is recommended to use the Assault Damage perk to compensate for its slightly weaker damage. It is unlocked at Rank 44. Another great strategy is to use the Movement Speed skill to better suit a “run n’ gun” style of play.
